On Campus Employment Interviews
The Office of Career Development actively contacts and invites employers on campus to interview CNU students and graduates. Most employers request interviews with seniors and graduates for full time positions, however there are some occasions when underclassmen are eligible to sign up for interviews.
To be considered for interviews you must:
- Register and upload a resume through eCampusRecruiter, www.ecampusrecruiter.com/cnu.
- Schedule appointments in person in the Office of Career Development by the advertised deadline. This is a requirement for all interview candidates, in order to maintain integrity of the program.
Employers expect that CNU students will conduct themselves professionally throughout the interview process. Professional business attire is required. If it is necessary for you to cancel an interview appointment, you must notify the Office of Career Development at least two working days prior to the scheduled appointment. If you schedule an interview appointment and fail to show up for it, you will lose on-campus interviewing privileges for the remainder of the semester.
We urge you to attend an Interviewing Skills Seminar before participating in on-campus employment interviews. Please call 757.594.8887 to inquire about dates and times of the seminars and to learn about other valuable employment services available to you.
