Additional Frequently Asked Questions

What are the benefits to enrolling in CNU Connect?

These vary based on your professor and whether you are in the Leadership Program. Each professor decides what value your completion of CNU Connect has toward your grade. For some it is an assignment option, for others it is extra credit. The important thing to know is that you will learn a great deal from your experience and most likely will develop meaningful relationships with those you serve.

Where can I volunteer?

You may volunteer at any ONE of CNU's accepted agencies. Please click here for a list of accepted sites.  If there is an agency or organization that you would like to serve that is not on the list, you may submit information about it for approval to brad.brewer@cnu.edu or call at 757/594-8887.

Will extensions be given for any deadlines?

Only under extenuating circumstances will extensions be given for the enrollment deadline. If you do not submit an enrollment form by the deadline you will not be able to participate in CNU Connect this semester.
